Travel Info Why do so many come out of nowhere to object and protest those who want peace in Israel? Travel Tips Because, like a lot of other countries in the world, Israel is still suffering the consequences of a past invasion. Peace is seen to many as 'giving up' or handing over what might be theirs to the opposition. Think about it, if you were born and raised in Britain, as were your parents, grandparents, great grandparents, etc. All you knew was America. But your Ancestors were Irish. Your family held Irish culture close to their way of living, it was integrated into you and your community. Next thing you know the British Kick up crap. They want you and your family out of their country, they won't talk, guns are blazing, they are killing as many as they see to scare you people out of the country! Do you go? Do you stay and fight or do you try to make peace with a very angry, manic, army of people? Now there are 2 or maybe 3 different cultures all living in the one country.(I don't bother keeping up with their shite anymore). All groups have been rooted in Israel for so long that that they identify themselves as Israelites. Because they are Israelites, they are immensely proud of their culture and background, will not mix it with any other culture, therefor will not agree to live in peace with the other occupants. Which has a knock on effect of civil war, which then drags in the U.N. (and obviously America because American presidents love nothing more than sending in their unsuspecting young men and women to blowing the crap outta the middle east). Which will eventually conclude in the country being split up to separate all the mad bastards. But the fighting will still go on for decades, maybe centuries. Until they run outta money and need the tourists to replenish their lost wealth. Then they'll stop fighting....maybe. Those objecting to peace (if they are Israelites) obviously feel the only way to settle their disputes is through war. Those objecting to peace (if they are NOT Israelites) are idiots who think their own shite don't smell. I do not think the rest of the world should ignore it. Of course we should help them. BUT we all should help both sides equally and democratically. You can't solve violence with violence (Take note Bush, you bloody idiot!) Source(s): Well, I've seen it in my own country. There are still effects of this crap left in the North today...and how long ago did the Brits invade Ireland!!!??...More than 800 yrs ago. I even know young Irish Republic people who hold hate for the Brits for no reason other than their occupation (which ended nearly 100 yrs ago!). These are people who actually know NOTHING about what happened from 800yrs ago to today. It seems human nature is to hate and fight. Other Travel Tips I don't know- I think the "why" in this case could have so many different answers. Look at the history surrounding the region. Because the people who call for 'peace in israel' don't really want peace, but their own way. They only want their own goals achieved, at the cost of everyone else's. '"There is no peace", my God has said, "for the wicked ones"' Isa 57:21 I think your premise is wrong. I don't think anyone objects or protests against those who want peace. Rather, many people object and protest one specific viewpoint of how to achieve peace. There is a vast difference between the two. Cuz they want to start trouble. |
