Yes a lot of them are but not all cuz we have some converts to Judaism who are Jews by religion and are from all over the world. I notice the Ashkenzim and Sephardim don't get along cuz in Sephardi they don't take converts. They are not descendants of Khazars, cuz the Khazars moved to Poland and all the Yiddish speaking countries. That's news to me too.
