Travel Tips The jews were prosecuted and thrown out of every country they went to(except America).They finally create there own country and the muslims want to throw them out.It will never end...I mean geez half of the world is now denying the holocaust. Others Personally, I think it's irrelevant, although I do believe it should be a land for all people, not the Jews alone. Regardless, after WW II, where else would you have wanted the Jews to go? We can argue about the historic aspect of it until we are blue, but as of right now, Israel does belong to the Jews, and it did for the past 60 years. I understand that Arabs disagree, I just don't appreciate the methods they use against Israel. The population of internationally recognized Israel is 80% Jewish, so I'd say yes. Ouch Sam, you couldn't have asked a more difficult question. This would require a group of 1000 historians and they might come up with 2000 different views. Also philosophers... when does a piece of land actually belong to someone ? Yes it does. This doesn't mean that only Jews can live there; many non Jews adore Israel and are extremely happy there. Remember: Israel is a tiny sliver of land; she's smaller than Wales! Now compare this to the vast number of huge, wealthy Arab nations on the map. Yes it does. Our homeland isn't Alaska or Bolivia or Germany or China; it's Israel. Period. That said, the land needs to be shared with the Arab residents who have been living their for a century or two. Two states. |
