Toy stores, supermarkets, nargila shops, malls, gift shops, the list is endless . . . You can't throw a half-brick in any direction without hitting SOME place that's got Shesh-besh sets for sale. After soccer and T.V. it's gotta be the most popular pastime in Israel. Welcome to the Middle East ! Others Look around, they're about as easy to find as a falafal stand. You can get all sizes of sheshbesh boards in Dollar stores, there are loads of them in Tel Aviv, not sure elsewhere. Ben yehuda or any store that has games everywhere!!! Old City Jerusalem or the markets in Tel Aviv - both places will have really nice sets in different sizes, designs, etc. Look for good quality work. I believe you can get a medium sized one for about 100-150 NIS. Good luck! |
