Has anyone here ever stayed at the King David Hotel? |
Travel Info I have visited it myself and it seems very nice - I was wondering if anyone could give their own opinion of the hotel or what they have heard from others what it is like to be a guest of the King David. Travel Tips I stayed at the King David one night just to see what it is like, and I loved it! It is a truly classy hotel with such a rich history... just walking around looking at the pictures was great! As for the room, it was very comfortable, and had a lot of little extra touches, such as automatic curtains with the controls right near the bed, a radio in the bathroom, and fresh fruit ready to eat! If you ever have a chance, splurge and stay there. It is a lot of fun! Others It is very nice, very classy and very expensive. I have stayed in so many nice hotels. Why don't you tell us about your experience at the King David Hotel. I will be visiting Israel next year for my 80 birthday. I wish, but it is very expensive. But I head that another hotel the King Solomon is just as nice! I might go to Israel for my bar Mitzvah next year. Yes, people are very friendly and hospitabalable. I live in Jerusalem so I never had to stay there... but I think it's one of the more posh hotels in the city. So if you like those kind of hotels you'll probably like it. And you have a gorgeous view of the old city. Enjoy your stay. |
