Since the High Court doesn't see why we need a plea bargain in this case, they demanded that the attorney general explain. Until he does, they will not proceed with the case. Others There is no delay. They let him off. So much for justice in israel. I don't see the big deal with that so call sex scandal. He is a handsome man and was probably set up to it just like US President Bill Clinton. President Katsav is not a sex offender! They just want to get rid of him with false acusations. True justice can be slow. Don't assume anything. Politics moves fast for a reason. I think he was a problematic president, and can't be put as a boss over women. Yes he is hansom and find himself whoever he wants, so why forcing himself on his secretaries? It is good that everybody knows who he is and what he done, so women can avoid working for him now. I don't see him as a risk for the public (in contradiction to real rapists), so I think he can go free. I hate to agree with my enemy, but when your enemy says that 2+2=4 you have no right to disagree. I also think that Katzav should go to jail. Even if he didn't rape her, he should still be punished severely for that kind of disgusting behavior while serving his country. |
