Yes for a reason. We were surprised of the cost to go to Jamaica and almost booked a week vacation there. Instead we took a cruise that stopped there. Boy was I happy we didn't stay. It is a SCARY place. The people selling things are very aggressive and pushy. I can't even begin to tell you the lengths they go to in order for you to buy something. Also everyone wants to sell you weed around every corner. We had a prostitute come up to our cab at a stop light and lift her skirt up. Also, a man that tried to stick his hand into our cab to steal our buddies wallet.. The driver noticed and took off dragging this guy down the street because he wouldn't let go. There are alot of places in the Carribean that are much nicer than Jamaica and safer.

Absolutelly NOT! You have to get plane tickets (NOT CHEAP) hotel reservs (NOT CHEAP) and so much more... I'd say its not the cheapest vacay..
well you can find a cheap trip to jamaica if u search the offers of travel agencies but if u ask me if u do decide to do a trip to jamaica then get a bit spoiled spent some money such trips u go once in a lifetime.. good trip anyway..
