Travel Info Has anyone been to riu ocho rois jamacia? Travel Tips If you mean Ocho Rios, Jamaica, then yes, I have. Others yes..on a cruise ship and it was horrible..people begging and asking u wif you want to buy drugs...its a *****ty place Yes, it's absolutely beautiful there. Keep in mind, there is poverty all over the Island. People in general are very cordial & friendly. I found my love for Reggae music there also.....now I play it in my backyard when I'm in the pool with a cocktail ! Your best bet is to go to a resort, and not wander too far away. Jamaica is my favorite Island. (Try climbing Dunns River Falls !) yes! it is an amazing place! (i recommend that if you go, go to Margaritaville) April 2006 cruise I've been about 10 yrs ago ,the people are very friendly and very poor ' most of the shopping is done out side the merchants are very aggressive for your money. I hate to say they beg a lot ,even the children will dance, sing for a quarter. But if you needs braids in your hair, dirt cheap price. Over all drinks where good ,climbing the 600 or 8 foot water mountain was the best for me. yes.Ocho Rios is a beautiful place.I fell in love with it the first time I went there. |
