I live in the usvi alot of jamaicans are here now when we talk to each other they say my accent is funny compare to theirs . they say their accent is the best outta all the carribbean island . i don't think so . we all sound the same gimme yo taughts and understanding . thank u!

Every islander thinks his or her own country is the best and that by extension would also apply to accents. However i usually marvel at the other island accents and love to hear them, but we definately do not sound the same.

Doesn't really matter, all accents are sexy.
They all sound different and every Islander thinks their accent is best. But no problem man!
That's each country showing their pride thinking their own accent is the best, but thing is, they are pretty much the same in unique ways. I've been to Barbados 6 times so far, and I don't care about accents or not. It's my friends and boyfriend and some of their families that I care about. :)

I think even if all didn't sound the same, it's the accent that gives a unique way, but still, they are pretty much the same. An accent is just an accent.
I don't know what...BEST is as long as you are not pretending to have an accent..what does it matter really..all accents to me are facinating,but I don't like it when people act like they are something they are not..be yourself and don't worry about what is better ...k?
no accent is the best. that's just an opinion. with me, I can detect some Island accents. I know the Trini, JA, Lucian, and the Haitian accents. Not all the islands accents are the same. Yes to me the Cruzan accent sounds a bit similar in a way to the JA accent (just my opinion) but yet there are very different.

Sometimes to me the Antiguan and JA accents sound the same, and Vincy and Ja accents sound the same too, but once the slang(s) start to kick in, then I know.

I love all accents.
Every Island people think that they are better than each other, but when you put them to the test they are all the same,don't let it bother you, we are all god children.
