Where do I find house rentals in Jamaica? |
Travel Info I am moving to Jamaica soon and I need to know a website where I can find houses for rent. Not 800$ a night vacation villas, but a house to live in. I would also appreciate some information on how much it costs to live there. Any other usefull information will be appreciated too. Thank You. Rental property is not particularly cheap in Jamaica, expect to pay round about $900US per month for a decent 1 bedroom apartment in a gated comunity in a nice part of Kingston. Where abouts in Jamaica are you moving to? This could affect the price you need to pay. If you are moving to Kingston be sure to ask the agents about where their properties are located, there is a lot of crime concentrated in certain areas. depending on where you want to live you could speak to a real estate agent as well as you could also check out the jamaica gleaner online classifieds. in the daily newspaper or at a real estate office. go in person talk to real estate folks then talk to some locals who may know of someone who wants to rent....put an add in their paper too maybe..if you know of anyone in jamaica who can ask these questions for you you will most likely get a better deal.............. |
