Travel Info How do i contact other previous guests (may 07) at couples negril jamaica? Travel Tips look up tripadvisor site online look up ur hotel u can read comments about it hope thats helpful to u sweety, Others Try writing to the hotel's Guest Relations telling them who you wish to make contact with. Give them full details, name date, room etc, for yourself as well (they won't give out people's information) and ask them nicely to make contact with your party on your behalf. Trust me, they will.. I know a couple who stayed there in late May. In fact I referred them to Couples. They're from the Louisville, KY area and wrote this review: My experience: We arrived into the airport mid-afternoon on Thursday. It had just finished raining, leaving the weather outside nice. As the trip progressed I looked forward to the rains, which really tempered the weather. We had them every afternoon thereafter for an hour to three hours. We finally get shuffled into the Couples Lounge. They greet us and someone takes our bags and runs off to procure us a shuttle. We are offered a beverage and sit back to wait for our departure. It was an off time to leave and we were on our shuttle alone. It made for a nice time and our driver was wonderful. He gave us a great tour and taught us all types of fascinating things about the country itself that I may not have learned otherwise. He even stopped off at a side vendor and bought a thing of chilled sugar cane and shared with us. When we arrived at the resort we tipped him ten dollars and gave our thanks. I loved the entrance to Couples Negril. The colors, trees, decor, and open air feel was beautiful in it's simplistic nature. The ladies at the check in were very polite and efficient. The cold towels and champagne were much needed. Our Beachfront Suite was ready (room 5102) and our luggage was picked up and we were walked to it. Our walk also included a mini-tour with the nicest gentleman. The Suite itself is nice. It is NOT a fancy room, but I loved the feel of it. The light fixtures and curtains were beautiful. The bed was fantastic for a resort bed. I am sure I could nitpick things, but honestly, there wasn't anything for complaint. The hammock was perfect. I was not a fan of the showerhead. I never used the jacuzzi tub (it took too long to fill up!!) and I didn't really care for the fact that I didn't have a door to close to the bathroom. (I am a VERY private person) The air works great though, and the water pressure does indeed have GREAT pressure. (Ouchie on sunburn) The resort grounds were divine. I felt like I was on a nature preserve that just happened to house people. Everyone who works there appeared to have such pride in the work the performed daily. I tried my best to be as nice and gracious to them all. The beach. WOW. I mean. WOW. It's perfect. For the life of me I could never figure out why anyone even went to the pool. The water was warm and crystal clear. There's plenty of shade. PLENTY! Who needs an umbrella when you can have a beautiful, tropical tree to provide you with respite from the sun? We even had a stingray hanging out in the shallows every morning. I loved the red flag service. Those people have a tough job and they all did it fantastically. Now to my favorite part of the vacation, but let me preface it with a tiny autobiography. I worked in the restaurant business for eleven years. I've done it all. Cooking, serving, managing. I've also worked in fine dining. I am a self-professed foodie and pick many vacations solely on the ability to go to top restaurants. With that being said, good GOD the food was good. I don't mean KIND OF good, I mean, some of the best things I have ever tasted came from this resort. Perfectly prepared dishes executed on a buffet....fruit to die for....pastries to indulge in....seafood that satiates my desires....all topped off with fantastic service. The buffet had great service. Heliconia's service was four star for their sit down dinners. The entire time I was there I watched the chef walk around and oversee everything. I found that very impressive. The approved vendor's were a great touch. Nobody EVER hassled me. No one was pushing drugs on me, as some people have complained about. The beach grill bar is where we seemed to do all our drinking. They would make me the best dirty martini there. I drank about three every afternoon. I loved the random musicians that would perform on the beach. Although, we never brought money down to tip them. Age groups of all types were there. I was never out of place or uncomfortable. I did enjoy watching people be "shocked" by the toplessness by some women. It was fun watching the guys try to get their wives to do it. We never took advantage of any other recreations offered. I just loved the beach and reading on it. Soaking up the sun. We would rise at six and be out by seven to take advantage of the day. That meant I was asleep by ten every night. It was just a fantastic trip. |
