Why is it so hot in jamaica ???????? |
Travel Info why is it so hot in jamaica becuse when u got there u can feel the heat when u sleep like u will wake up swaten there is no snow down there no fall down there and no spaing its only summer........... Travel Tips Were are you? Kingston/south coast like St Elizabeth, or Montego bay. Any were on one of Jamaica's coastal plains is going to feel hot with sea breeze moderating the temps if your closer to the sea,as Jamaica have a tropical maritime climate.Because of day time heating due to the sun direct position over head it's going to be hot especially if your in one of our towns/ City area were there is not much in way of tree's with a lot of concrete, there giving more heat until afternoon relief from convectional showers. Usual temps in City and town are 93F/ 30 to 35 degree Celsius plus lot of water vapor in the air to give a sweating effect, due to evaporation/ transpiration and respiration. Source(s): Experience, I am Jamaican an many summer nights I would sleep in boxer's only, please don't be offended. And electricity is so dam expensive some time i take a second look at my air condition, and "bus" open my windows for the night air to come in,the trick is to let 6 o clock pass first to allow flying insect to dissipate then when it gets to about 8/ 9 pm windows fly open to let night air in. Other Travel Tips da its on the equater or on the cancer line and attaracts the most direst sunlight This is a tropical island in the north west of the Caribbean. It's hot because of where we are located. What a strange question. It's JAMAICA !! what were you expecting....that;s one reason we go there..snow? yuck!..... hot hot hot.....yup yup yup ....I don't understand the question either..... no spaing!!! OMG It is close to the equator. |
