Can anyone tell me....?

Travel Info
i am thinking of booking a holiday to jamaica in december as i have family out there, but i want to treat myself to an all inclusive break in a hotel....my question is would my family be able to visit me there?
as they have a 9 year old and a 6 year old they would enjoy the pool and other entertainment

Travel Tips
They should be able to visit, as long as it is a family resort you are checking into. Children may not be aloud in some resorts, Sandals for example, as they are strictly couples only. I could be wrong though. My advice to you - check around - call any of the all inclusive resorts you are considering booking into and ask them your questions. Ask them what your family needs to do, because some may require a day pass fo visitors (not sure whether or not you have to pay for it -it depends on the resort). Or call a travel agent. Have Fun!!

yes they can as long as they r not sleepin over
Well depending on the All Inclusive.. Many of the AI hotels make visitors purchase a day pass.. Many of then do give "local" rates, but they still aren't cheap.. You may consider an EP hotel with an All Inclusive option.. Not sure where you are looking to book but I know in Negril you could check out Merrils resorts, Coral sea's resorts, Charella Inn, Legends and Sam Sara.. Those are the moderate priced AI's. Which makes you not feel guilty if you do decide to grab dinner and drinks out some nights. And still be able to do so.. Beaches, Sandals, Couples, and most likely the Riu's, basically your larger Ultra All Inclusives, all have day passes. And at around $75 for a "day pass" it may not be too affordable..
If you are going to Negril check out
www.negrilinfo.com
They have a page with links to the moderate prices AI option hotels..
Good Luck!
I go to Negril a lot..
congrats!!!! when looking to book a place make sure you ask them right away thay way you will know just where you want to be ...hopefully they will make it easy for you...enjoy wish it were ME!!
I can't think of any hotel where guests friends or family can use the facilities without having to pay for it! Once it is an all inclusive resort, you have to pay for EACH person. The pass is for a specific time and there is a day pass as well as a night pass. The day pass is just after breakfast till just before dinner, I notice, so you will be able to have one full meal plus unlimited snacks. FDR and Beaches are good ones to consider....children-friendly.
