Who knows the real story of White Witch Of Rose Hall In Jamaica? |
Travel Info I have been looking on the net and asked my mom, but i am getting differt anwsers. Anybody knows? Travel Tips I grew up in Jamaica. What I remember mostly is that she was involved with the slave men, having sex and so on. She killed her hubands and eventually she was killed by a slave. People claoms even to this day that her evil spirit abouts. Alot of Jamaicans are afraid to go and visit there. Alot of accidents takes place on the Rose-hall main road which runs by the house. Haunted scary place!!!lol Others i know! ha ha ... i know - it's a long story - a whole book I visited there. I remember the tour guide saying that a white woman from another country moved there and was very mean, especially to all of the people who worked on her property. She eventually had affairs with different men who worked there, but the men ended up dead one after another. Eventually one may have killed her, but the story goes that some of the men's ghosts still haunt the house. They showed one spot where she would stand on a balcony and watch people be executed. It was creepy. No one alive knows the real story. There is one book titled 'Jamaica White' which makes her seem quite human. If you're doing a report it would be interesting if you provided the various interpretations. |
