Linstead is a town in St. Catherine Parish, Jamaica in the West Indies. Popularized in the song "Linstead Market." (1991 pop. 14,144), on RR, and 12 mi/19 km NNW of Spanish Town.

Its in St Catherine. If your coming from kingston you would have to pass on madela highway, through spanish town, cross flat bridge, where the hills would be surrounding you (you have the pum pum rock to look at ) and you would be on your way to linstead.

LINSTEAD IS IN THE PARISH OF ST CATHERINE AND IT IS LOCATED IN THE BOGWALK AREA.
Its in the parish of trelawny. Assuming you are coming out of kingston, take the Bagwalk main road to Linstead. When you get there stop[ and ask anyone by the roadside to direct you.
