How good will the partying and fun be in Negril, Jamaica in June? Is it low season then? |
Travel Info I will be there from 6/7-6/13 2007. Mostly likely staying at Point Village? Any suggestions are DEF. welcome!! Travel Tips Jamaicans really know how to party. I recommend The Jungle in Negril, as well as Margaritaville. Margaritaville in Negril actually has a slide that starts inside the bar and goes out into the ocean. I haven't been to Point Village, I last stayed at the RIU Negril. All Inclusive, excellent, absolutely no complaints. I plan on staying there again this summer. Be sure to take a digital camera, and I highly recommend the catamaran cruise from Negril to Rick's Cafe' and back. The scenery is amazing. The cruise is about $55.00. It lasts for around 4 hours, and they supply the drinks and the party actually starts on the catamaran. You will have a fantastic time. Enjoy. Others The partying might be a little slower than prime time, but if you like hot weather, cold beer, and scantily clad beach dwellers, enjoy for me as well! Negril is always a party. June will not be low season. That usually begins in mid August or so and lasts until almost Christmas. As far as the resort you can check it out at TripAdvisor.com and read dozens of trip reports written by previous visitors, view "canddi traveler photos" that some of them posted, and you can also check out the other attractions the area offers.
