Travel Info Which are the most cool places to go clubbing in Japan? Which kind of music is "in" in Japan right now? Travel Tips I live in Osaka. There are various places to go clubbing. I recommend you "Sazae-e" and "Club Karma" in Umeda or "Grand Caf茅" in Shinsaibashi (even thought there so many other clubs which are interesting). There is not real club culture in Japan. Population in clubs is very young, extravagant and people go there to have fun in a friendly and smily atmosphere. It is not a place to pick up (like France) or to enjoy a particular kind of music (like UK). Therefore, there is nothing really "in": people choose among gigs according to their humour. Anyway, it is a great experience. Others Tokyo is pretty awesome. They are into their own stuff but trance is quite popular I would go to Roppongi or Shibuya in Tokyo. There are some good clubs. They have trance night, house night, techno...etc You should look for some good clubs there and check the schedule!! There might be some reviews from people on the Internet , written in English as well. |
