Any good beaches around Tokyo/Yokohama (other than Kamakura)?

I desperately wanna visit a beach tomorrow but don鈥檛 wanna travel too far! (presently located in Yokohama)

Suggestions for any other natural destination welcome too.. I'm too tired of Japan's concrete jungle!!

it`s not very far from yokohama.

Have you been to Shonan? I've heard it's pretty nice. Avoid it at nights on weekends cause apparently it becomes biker gang territory though. I've heard there are nice beaches in Chiba-ken, but not sure about it. Enoshima is cute.

If you like parks or gardens, check out Sankei-en, a Japanese garden in Negishi area of Yokohama. It's really large and you can wander about for a long time enjoying plants and little teahouses. A nice spot to visit on a date.
