Where to buy stuff in Kyoto?

hey well i'm moveing there in the early fall and i need to know where to get house hold things like a bed and tv and such any one got any ideas? Will my canadian stuff work in Japan like my alarm clock and my curling iron? and so forth thank you for you help

All of my American electrical appliances work over here, however the socket has a slightly different shape so you'll need an extension cord. Extension cords have slightly wider holes than regular sockets so your appliances should fit perfectly. (Assuming Canadian appliances are the same as American)
