Going to Philinpiness, Japan in few months and i was wondering during Oct to Nov isnt winter in both country or summer?

Late Oct and Nov is the best season to visit Japan IMP. Air is crisp and clean, colors of mountain is in momiji (yellow/red), temperature is around 10 to 15 C. You still have lots of rain in Oct but middle to late Nov, it will getting drier I think.

pretty sure winter my friend. unless its below the equator than it is summer. actually it is fall. it is just like The USA
Philippines: has three main seasons: It is the rainy season from june to november (the hot season is march to may, the cold from december to feb: so rainy season is more like autumn(fall) or spring).

Japan: northern hemisphere, so it would be autumn (or fall) as well
Japan is little bit cool from Oct to Nov, which is fall season.

It's good season for traveller to visit, because you can see red leaves. It's so beautiful, especially Kyoto, one of the best place area in Japan, is good!
