Taking my digital media to Japan- could I get in trouble?

Travel Info
So I'm flying out to Japan for a month, and I saw that their customs bans anything that violates intellectual property rights.

I'm a 20 y/o female, and I'm likely to get profiled for bringing in bootlegged media. I don't download music illegally or anything like that, but how would they be able to know what's legal or not legal on my iPod? I'm not bringing all my CDs to Japan!

I also have Japanese music ripped from original CDs that I own.

What if I were to rip a DVD I own to my laptop's hard disk? Would THAT be violating their customs? I want to have some way to entertain myself on an 11 hour flight and 5 hour layover.

I can't seem to figure out what's legal and what's not, and I don't want to risk anything. However, I'd also like to keep my sanity.

Travel Tips
No-one is going to care about your iPod. And it's absurd anyone will "profile" you. Unless you have 500 blank CD-R's in your suitcase.
Others
They are not going to look at the music you have in your iPod. I'm from Japan and I go there every year with illegal copies of games, music and movies on my laptop, iPod and PSP. They won't give a crap.
They don't profile as much as you think they do. I'm 27 and female and I have dark skin (I'm mexican american). I really thought they'd profile me for looking slightly Indian or what-not, but they just didn't do anything.

I took my iPod with me as well and they didn't check. Please. Both times I went to Japan, the customs guy just looked at my passport and let me through. In the Kansai airport, the guy didn't even ask me to put the luggage on the table for inspection. In Narita airport, the guy just asked if I had any alcohol, guns and all that other crap. These guys really don't have the time to be checking stupid things like ipods.
Don't worry about that. The inspection are more concerned about weapons and people bringing explosives onto a plane. They really wont care about your ipod or laptop having bootleged items on it.
