Are Tokyo's McDonald's different? |
Travel Info Are Tokyo's McDonald's different? Travel Tips Most of the menu items are going to be the same as in the USA, there are a few differences, of course, there are some items on the menu that I would love to get back in the states. The Teriyaki burger definitely was a good burger, I liked the mos burger version better but it was still very good. They have a shrimp burger usually as well, never tried it but it looked good There is also a different breakfast sandwich that comes on a really soft bagel, no idea what it was called, but it was really good. As someone else said, as you enter, they bow to you and usually say irrashaimase (basially welcome) they have a picture menu on the counter (flip it over for the english menu) that has all the items in japanese with prices, a setto (set) is the sandwich, fries and a drink, you usually save a few yen that way. One difference you will find all over Japan, you have to seperate your trash when throwing it away, plastic goes in 1 place, paper goods another, and you pour your left over soda/ice down a third area. The food is amazingly well prepared, and the attention to detail is extreme. You would never get a half smashed covered in grease double cheeseburger in a Mcdonalds in Japan, instead it will look exactly (or better) than the picture. Source(s): Stayed in Japan for a month last year. http://www.mcdonalds.co.jp/ Other Travel Tips yes they have egg on a lot of the meals Nope. Same crap as in all the others world wide. I've saw pictures, they're physically different of course, because they jutt out in their Japanese style, but I'm sure the food is the same. They sell beer and condiments cost money no joke!! they have McSushi |
