What are the chances of landing a job as an animator/designer in Asian countries like Taiwan, Korea and Japan? |
Travel Info I'm more particularly interested towards character animation, web/interface/game designer, and motion graphics. Its more towards; what preparations I need to know and get it ready to heighten the chances of being hired at those mentioned countries? It would be helpful if anyone would know the demand level, and umemployment factor of such industry in those countries. Travel Tips for japan and korea, i think there are a lot of natives there who are in web designing and animations since japan is a large producer of anime and manga, the only think you should care is how to speak their own language especially when you are going in these 3 countries in asia. taiwan needs factory workers and electricians. if you are going in japan and korea, most of the employees hired there are health care professionals like nurses and caregivers. and mostly, for me japan is the best among the three to live in because it is one of those tiger economy country in asia. i suggest that you ask a working agency for job openings or for sure results, check out the internet, there are sites who can recommend you job opportunities in these three countries. good luck! Others In Japan, there are two chances. Fat and none. You'd need to read, write, and speak as well as a native born Japanese to even be considered. And then you'd have to have above average skills. The other two countries you'd still have to have native language skills. |
