Travel Info It is legal to carry and check in air soft guns at the narita airport japan? Travel Tips 鈾ake a look at this site: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p... http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/p... I think it may be helpful. My friends from the US who've visited me here in Japan have had no problem taking back martial arts goods such as 'throwing stars' and such in their checked luggage as long as they declared them. Good luck! Hope this helps!鈾? Others you must be ill to even think that..its one of the strickest airports... You could if you are looking for big trouble. just put it in your check in baggage. i saw a person who checked in a real gun(he was a military person). so i guess just put in it your check in baggage.(not in your carry on) You need to check with your airline. Taking out or bringing in? In either case you'd have to stick them in your checked luggage and you couldn't bring them on board the plane. I've seen martial arts gear such as swords, nunchaku and sai put through in checked luggage without an issue. The most things they're concerned with is that you don't bring in any drugs, porn, real guns, too much alcohol or foods on the prohibited list. I've been through Narita customs about 5 times and each time they just asked a few questions and waved me through. I never had my bags checked, but then I never carried anything illegal and never gave them a reason to suspect me. You should be fine, after all air soft guns are sold all over the place in Japan. Not a chance ! And you don't want to see the inside of a Japanese jail. |
