How do I say "You(female) have spectacular eye brows in Japanese"? |
Travel Info How do I say "You(female) have spectacular eye brows in Japanese"? Travel Tips I'm assuming you want to tell a Japanese girl this? In which case I would guess you want to say, "You have spectacular eyebrows" in Japanese and not, "You have spectacular eyebrows in Japanese" because the last one makes no sense. My conjugation is a little faulty but I would think you could say without fear of offending her, "anata wa subarashi mayu(ge) arimasu". Anata (ah - nah - tah) - means "you" and it's gender neutral as well as respectful. If she's close to you, you might use "kimi" instead but that's a judgement call I'm not going to make as it can be a little insulting or demeaning if spoken to the wrong person. wa (wah) - subject particle. subarashi (soo - bah - rah - shee) - spectacular, great, wonderful, amazing etc. mayu(ge) (mah - you - geh) - eyebrow (hair) arimasu (ah - ree - mahs) - have. Others 鍚涖伄鐪夋瘺銇噭銇勩仹銇欍伃銆?br /> Kimi no mayuge wa sugoi desu ne. Kimi = you no = possessive mayuge = eyebrows wa = particle to indicate subject sugoi = amazing, spectacular, great, insert superlative here "na" or "da na" or "desu ne" is a common ending for japanese sentences . "desu ne" would be the most polite. I don't know how well you know the girl. Also, for kimi, I'm assuming that if you're going to tell this girl that she has spectacular eyebrows, that you're close enough to her to use the informal "kimi" |
