What are the differences between driving in japan and in other country? |
Travel Info What are the differences between driving in japan and in other country? Travel Tips In Japan, they drive on the left side of the road. One thing that may be different, depending on where you are from, is that many of the roads are narrow, so that they look like they should be one-way streets, however, they are not. Traffic may travel either way, so cars must drive carefully to avoid wrecks. In many cases, one must pull to the side and let the people coming from the opposite direction through. Also, many places use mirrors placed near small intersections to help vehicles see if there are cars approaching from the intersecting street. If there are cars, then they know to wait in order to avoid an accident. Others Depends on the (other) country. Japan drives on the left, and in general the standard of driving is very disciplined. Car-navi (Car Navigation System) rules. In America, we have some good laws as long as everyone follows them. In Guatemala, they just drive wherever they feel like! Japanese vehicles are left-hand driven. We follow the US model. Living in Japan is complete heaven, and living in another country doesn't compare! haha, sorry, i misunderstood the question just now...*blush* |
