Traveling to Tokyo, Japan... Any tips or ideas? |
Travel Info I'm going to Japan with two friends in October but I'm looking at these hotels and I'm just a more hear-say person. Can anyone tell me where they stayed in Tokyo? What were some of the things you saw? I know they use a different currency and ours outweighs theirs, but is it cost effective or basically the same? Travel Tips I use hostels wherever I go-they are cheap and safe in Japan, and people are very friendly. But have in mind that in Tokyo everything is like two or three times more expensive than in most countries in Europe(I'm from Europe too). When I say everything I mean it! There are many things to see in and around Tokyo, but as long as people and their interests are different, I'll need some more particular information about your interests to offer you some nice sites in Kanto area. And basically it is not true that Japanese in Tokyo don't speak English, they just don't want to, unless you address them with the sweetest smile in the world ( successful strategy anywhere in Japan). Others OMG, you are sooooooooo not prepared for being in another culture...... lots of laugh. (dont get confused) Buom voyage , mon ami !! Where are you coming from? hahahahaha!!!! I laughed because they did.... I don't know why.. Tokyo is costly...osaka much more cheaper!!!! I went Tokyo many years ago...that is during April....sukura trees blossom period!! the place to see all these beautiful pinky and white flowers...the name is call UENO!!! free to see and touch!!!! It is good to change their currency...at least u will know better when shopping!!! |
