How's the nightlife for a young gaijin in kyoto or tokyo? |
Travel Info lots of women for me or not many women for me?please only answer if you really know,not if you have never been. Travel Tips In Tokyo, the nightlife is incredible!!! So fun. You'll have a blast in either Shibuya (#1 choice) or in Roppongi. Yes, there'll be lots of women! Others I know about Osaka, Gaijins are rare... In Tokyo, there are nightclubs and you'd meet plenty of girls and have a great time. People would be intrigued by you being a "gaijin." So no worries there. When you go out, though, you'll have a better time at a nightclub rather than a bar, because lots of men go out and drink with their coworkers after hours, with no women. In Kyoto, your nightlife wont be so great. Kyoto is a very old city with a lot of temples and historical buildings. Your best bet would be to try and go to some campus parties at Kyoto University. As far as cultural things in the West go, you wont find much. There aren't that many theaters (not movie, the real kind i mean) and thought there are some museums, there just arent as many as would be in New York or London. Good Luck. Nightlife for gaijin in Kyoto? Lots of opportunity, moreso if you are not Japanese, i.e. Japanese-American. Sounds like you want to meet women in Kyoto and Tokyo. Pretty much can guarantee you will. Use protection! Many Japanese women are infatuated with being with a gaijin... kind of like a trophy... if that's ok with you. |
