Can Japanese banknotes of 10,000 yen having Prince Shotoku image still be use in Japane?

I current have several old Japanese banknotes of 10,000 yen and 5000 yen. Both notes have the image of the Prince Shotoku. Does anyone in Japan can help me? Can these banknotes still be used? Thanks alot.

Yes, you can use them, however, if they are in mint condition, it will sell for a little more at collector's stores. If it is in normal or poor quality, you can ask any bank to change it.

Yes you can.
But machines doesn't accept it. The size is totally different from current 10,000yen.
You can use it at any shops.
