What do you need to use a laptop in Japan? (converter, adapter, what?)?

Travel Info
I'm bringing my laptop to Japan, and I need to know what I need to be able to plug it in. Anyone know? Thank you!

Travel Tips
Japan's outlets are 100 volts. Check the AC/DC adapter on your power cord (the power pack lookin thing) to see if it falls in that range. Any laptop made in the last 5 years should be 100-240 volts so it should be ok.

I'm using a Dell Inspiron 6000 in Japan right now and it works just fine. If you're from the U.S., you don't need an outlet adapter as the outlets are exactly the same. If your power cord has three prongs, you may need to get an adapter for the third (round) prong because many outlets in Japan are only two prongs. But you can find that at any electronics store in Japan or your home country.
Others
Most laptops come with 100-240 AC adapters which is ok to be plugged into any Japanese power points - Just that you need to have an interchangeable adapter to be able to plug into their socket.
You don't tell us where you're coming from. From the US you shouldn't need anything. From other countries you might need an adapter plug, or possibly a transformer if your computer doesn't have universal voltage.
But remember, there are no free WiFi network in Japan.
Ppl don't even know the name WiFi (Ppl call it as wireless network).
