Old Japanese Bank Notes (how to change them to new notes)? Help please :(?

Travel Info
Hi, I am from Malaysia, I got several 10,000 yen old bank notes (With the head portrait of Prince Shotoku Taishi). I have asked some of the yahoo user here, they told me it is use-able and still circulation.

Unfortunately, in Malaysia, the currency exchanger no longer except them. So please, do help me how to change them to new notes?
what shoud I do? How to change them to new notes so that i can use them here?

Travel Tips

is there a japanese embassy you can go to? In Malaysia they SHOULD exchange them, maybe they are just afraid they will be stuck with the "useless" notes if they take them. You will have to take it to a bank that will exchange it for you. good luck buddy
