Japan's weather? |
Travel Info i'm going to japan july 13...whats the weather going to be like. I'll be in all parts of japan. Is it true it that it's unbelievably humid? Travel Tips Now, it is summer in Japan. It is really hot and huimid. Except some places such as Hokaidou where it is cold, you will need some drink with you all the time. The heat would be killing you. I am now in Japan and it is so hot that I always buy some drinks at the convenient stores all the time. You need drink otherwise you will suffer a lot....lol Have fan in Japan., Good luck Source(s): I am Japanese and live in Tokyo Other Travel Tips Yeah, that is still rainy season so it'll be very humid and wet. Japan's weather is pretty similar to what you can find on the east coast of the US in July...really hot down south, with it getting slightly cooler as you go north. The humidity is pretty high throughout the country. The two things to keep in mind are that central air conditioning is not nearly as common there as it is here...especially in private homes, small businesses and smaller hotels and onsens. Larger hotels (especially ones that deal with business travelers) will have AC, as will larger department and grocery stores. Travelling on the subways in Tokyo is always tight and stuffy, so it can be even more so in the summer. Secondly, be aware that women generally do not wear shorts to walk around or shop in. You may find younger women in shorts at the beach or when doing sports, but for the most part they simply don't wear them Same goes for camisole tops, short shirts and ultra minis. Your best bet is to get lightweight skirts or dresses in cottons, capris and cotton tops. As for shoes, since you will probably be slipping them on and off quite a bit, keep away from anything that takes some doing to tie and untie. But make sure they are comfortable...you will be doing a lot of walking where ever you go! Yep, it's going to be really hot and humid in July, regardless of where you go in Japan. http://www.mustseesights.com Summer for Japan is extremely humid and muggy. That is the season there, and you'll probably see a fair amount of rain. |
