What is that really fast train called in japan or china or whatever? |
Travel Info its like the bullet train or something...? i'm totally blanking but it's like REALLY FAST!! Travel Tips In English, they are called "bullet trains", and they are called Shinkansen. The Fastest model in Japan is called "WIN 350". Its top speed is 350kph. Most of the other bullet trains top out at around 300kph. A few of the older bullet trains top out between 250 and 300kph. The Shape of the WIN 350 is very unique, and its color scheme is purple with a nice multi-colored stripe down the center. The newest bullet train it the Kagoshima-Fukuoka line. They call it Tsubame. I beautiful train that I have ridden once. Bullet train is the blanket name for all the high-speed trains in Japan. There are model names and line names also. Some of them are Nozomi, Hikari, Komachi, Tsubasa, Yamabiko, Hayate, Yellow Doctor, Railstar, Max, etc. Hope that helps. Source(s): Me. Officially it is known as the New Tokkaido Line. Unofficially it has always been called the Bullet Train. In China it is the Mag Lev (magnetic levitation train). In Japan it is the Bullet Train (Shinkansen in Japanese). |
