How to say "happy cherrise blossom" in japanese?

Travel Tips
If you are trying to say something like a greeting for the Cherry Blossom festivals or something like that, something like Merry Christmas, or Happy New Year. Japanese people don't really say anything like that. So, if you are wanting to say something like, "Happy Cherry Blossom Season/Festival/Viewing", Actually, saying it in English would be better. There isn't an equivalent Japanese phrase that encompasses the nuance you apparently are trying to catch. So, since everyone understands, "Happy New Year" I think the Japanese would understand "Happy Cherry Blossom Season/ Festival/ Viewing".

But, if you really want something in Japanese, I guess you could say, "Hanami Omedetou". You might get some weird looks though. Hanami is the party people have when the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom. The basically have a picnic at night under the lit Cherry Blossom trees and drink till they can't stand, and sing till they have no voice left. Then they leave all their trash for the old ladies to collect the next morning. (I've seen "the next morning" results of Hanami parties. Not pretty.)

Hope that helps a little. Source(s): Me. I've been living in Japan for over 15 years, and I've been to my share of Hanami parties. I quit going because it's not my thing.

What are you saying in English?
What's a "cherrise"?? Cherry blossom ? Sakura? Saying happy cherry blossom does'nt make any sense...
This doesn't make sense, but I think you want to say something like Happy Birthday, right? If that's what you're looking for then maybe something like, "Mankai Omedetou!" Which in my terrible Japanese means something like the cherry blossoms are bloomed, rejoice!

If you mean that the cherry blossom is happy then "shiawase na sakura".
