I got mine for free from here, and its actually good quality. They let you choose which camera you want, and some are worth up to $500 retail! All they want you to do is take this survey, and they send you the camera. I got mine doing this! http://urlx.org/43d43 Others There are places you can rent video cameras in Japan, but the buttons and all the manuels are all in Japanese. You may think that you only need to know how to pop in a tape and press the little red button, but nowadays, the cameras are much more complicated. To access different basic functions you need a series of button pushes and etc. I would recommend you to rent on in your home country and bring it over. Or do what my bro-in-law did. He bought one on his credit card from BEST BUY, used it for the summer, then returned it. (I think it was BEST BUY, the place that has a unconditional/As-long-as-you-d... return policy.)
