Children speaking Japanese? |
Travel Info How does a Japanese child ask another child if they want to play? My son wants to know because he will be around alot of Japanese children tonight. I don't know what he should say, I don't want him to sound weird to them, so in a casual manner how would he say, "Do you want to play with me?" (as a child would speak, not in the adult polite way) Can someone tell me quick? Travel Tips Just say, "ASOBO". That just means "Play?" or "ISSHO NI ASOBO?" Means, "Shall we play together?" My kids say it and hear it all the time. ("asobi masho", is way too formal for kids.) Source(s): Me and my kids are in Japan. Other Travel Tips http://www.byki.com/flsindpage.pl?lang=y... Here is a free download to "before you know it" it is a free language site. If you have speakers you will be able to listen to a word for phrase being spoke, it helps a lot. We are using it to learn Romania. Japanesse is one of the languages on the site, I checked. This is easy for me! I learn most of my Japanese from kids :) He could say --- a so bi mashoka (this is a question) But most kids don't ask... they just tell the other kids "Let's play!" a so bi ma sho! This is how it would sound. ah-so-be-ma-show On a side note... Your child does not really need to study Japanese to play with the other children. Kids commuicate this on their own. If you are in Japan he will learn by being around other kids. Don't worry and if you do, don't let him know you are worried. He will be fine.
