Top Ten things to Do in Kansas City? |
Travel Info Going to be in KS for my bachelor party and was wondering about night life. Travel Tips i'm not sure how to do a top ten here, but if you are looking for nightlife for a bachelor party, there is 1. westport, where you'll probably end up, main bar/party district in kc 2. the plaza, a few bars, but motstly shops and retaurants, the upscale part of town 3. midtown, centered at maybe 39th and broadway, lots of bars, fairly hip area, close to westport 4. brookside, at maybe 63rd and wornall, little strip with lots of bars 5. if you aren't going to be in the central area of kc, go to lawrence, 40 miles west, home of ku and tons of bars. don't bother with any of the suburbs immediately surrounding kansas city, there is nothing to do there. also, in kansas city, 18th and vine or river market are worth looking at, but really more during the day. downtown is still pretty dead, but less so than before. and there's the casinos, ameristar is the best. Others There are lots of jazz clubs and stuff- but that may not be rowdy enough for you. Go to Harrah's casino and get crazy. There is 4 Casinos in the Kansas City area. There is a lot of "gentlemen clubs" in the surrounding area Bazooka's Showgirls Legs Temptations Million Dollar Fantasy Ranch Shady Lady You can also get a singing telegram/stripper to come to you or there is companies in KC that will coordinate a bachelor party for you.
