What to do with the family (no children) while visiting Missouri? |
Travel Info Going back to see the family - need ideas of what to do, where to go with everyone (some elderly) Travel Tips Kansas City: Worlds of Fun, Oceans of Fun, The Plaza in downtown (just don't make a wrong turn or you'll end up in the ghetto), museums, fountains, eat KC Masterpiece (well, maybe that is on the Kansas side of KC) Springfield: Fantastic Caverns Branson/Lake of the Ozarks St Louis: Don't know, didn't grow up on that side of MO. I guess you could take the elevator up to the top of the arch, I hear that is the only thing to do in St Louis. Stay out of east St. Louis!! Also, stop at one of those Missouri Welcome centers if you are driving and pick up some brochures. ...and then there is always chasing tornados Others ozark mountains there beautiful! or the arch! branson is a blast no matter your age Branson. Great for all ages. A million things to do. If you get bored in Branson you are probable dead anyway. Grew up in Branson. I have heard that the Truman home just outside kansas city is a great touristy thing to do - they preserved the home as it was left when the ex president lived there. http://www.experiencekc.com/truman.html... |
