How would I go about getting a house "Section 8 approved"?

I own a house in the KCMO area, and I would like to rent it out to someone on section 8 (eventually). Is there a website, or someone I can contact to find their requirements? The house is in excellent condition, but I know they require certain "amenities" for section 8. Thanks

You have to go to the section 8 department the person you are want to rent to will have there phone #. if not call the welfare office and ask them for the phone #. and they will send some one out and then there are all the papers you have to fill out. if the house is in excellent condition dont worrie about it. just make sure there are smoke alarms. and take pictures so you have a record of how it looked before you rented. that is a must.
