Travel Info Is it true ppl from KC dont like ppl from STL? Travel Tips I grew up in KC area and yes its true. The reason is that KC is the eastern-most western city & StLouis is the western-most eastern city and those 2 types of peoples dont get along. Its like trying to match up people from Chicago with people from San Diego. The eastern cities are more arrogant and stuck up and the western cities are more laid back & take it slow. Not to mention the whole 1985 I-70 World Series controversy that St Louis fans cant let go of. Yes we dont get along - hardly ever!! Others G'day ant20004, Thank you for your question. There may be some people but a majority of people from Kansas City don't have problems with people from St Louis. Regards wtf.. i live in KC, and when i visited saint louis i thought the ppl where nice there....lol.. I don't judge people based on where they're from, so no. Have I encountered people from St. Louis who think their city is 'better' than KC? Sure, and I find them silly. Each city has its own charm and everyone has their own criteria of what makes a city great. I enjoyed my time in St. Louis but I didn't fall in love with it. I didn't tell the people I was staying with that KC was better since there's no need to. There are ridiculous people on every corner of the earth. It may be true for some people but many do not dislike people who live in STL. I live in KC and I don't have a problem. Why would we anyway? Im from KC and the only thing i can think of is the Royals vs. Cardinals rivalry that goes back to the 80's when the royals and cardinals were playing each other in the world series No, I don't know where you got your info from! If anything people from KC an STL get along better that others from somewhere else. |
