Are there any recommended nightclubs in Kansas City?? |
Travel Info I am a new london associate with Cerner and will be travelling to the Cerner headquarters in Kansas city for training. So would like to know any good nightclubs/bars/restaurants-an... to have fun!! Travel Tips Congrats! I have heard a lot of good things about Cerner. If you want to hear the best piano player in the world (in my opinion), go to the Majestic Steak House (downstairs). Every Saturday night he has a jazz trio. It is right downtown and near some of the other venues people have mentioned. Source(s): Been there many times. Other Travel Tips Yes there are. They are highway 70 about 250 miles east. Try Saint Louis. You didn't state what kind of atmosphere you like. We have a lot of good restaurants with good reputations, so you really can't go wrong with most choices. As far as nightlife goes, there is the Country Club Plaza with upscale bars... The Granfalloon and O'Dowd's are a couple of my favorites. There is Westport, which is more rowdy and people in their 20's hang out there. Hope this helps. Restaurants- you have to get the Bar BQ. That is what kc is known for. Try Gates or Authur Bryants. Bars- I would try Kelly's. It is a good old irish bar. Or Johnny upper deck. Or go to some bar in the Jazz district( 18th and vine). Nightclub- Maybe Blonde in the plaza(it is very high end). Or some place in westport. In the old renovated Union Station there is a bar in the center. It is beautiful. |
