I need to rent a room for a birthday party that holds about 50 people...? |

Travel Tips Check with fraternal clubs like the American Legion, the Moose Lodge etc..or even city parks.Sometimes they have meeting halls for rent that can accommodate such a crowd. Check with local hotels/motels also. Even smaller places such as Holiday Inn /Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn/Suites... may have conference rooms for rent. They are usually used for business meetings during the week but during weekends (and many evenings), they are usually free (meaning unoccupied, not free of charge). Avoid hotels with full service restaurants if you want to handle your own food and drinks. Otherwise, they may not let you have the facility without them catering the food and drinks. Others sounds like a house party to me The Truman library has several meeting room that can accomodate a party of your size. The rates start at $35 an hour with a minimum charge depending on the time of day. The west wing rooms would be a good choice with a $300.00 minimum.
