Can anyone tell me about Highland Park Townhomes in Kansas city Kansas, is it a nice area to live in? |
Travel Info can anyone tell me about Highland Park Townhomes in Kansas city,Kansas? We are relocating from Texas and was wondering about the area this property is located in, is it safe and nice part of town or is it a rough side of town? please any help would be appreciated. Thanks Travel Tips It is a mix of low income people who mostly are using section 8 vouchers to help pay the rent. Like all poor neighborhoods you have many good people living there and a few rotten apples like any other neighborhood in any big city. I would rather live there than a lot of other neighborhoods in KC. Source(s): My cousin has lived there with her family for over 10 years and has not had any major problem. Other Travel Tips I have bad news for you...the Highland Park Townhomes in KC, KS is located on 57th & State Avenue...Since I have been in KC I have visited that area once (lived here 5 years) and I wont ever go back. It is a BAD neighboorhood, run down, dirty and scary. Not a place to raise kids if you have them. Dont shoot the messenger!! Not a great part of Kansas City, Kansas. Further west would be a better idea. Have lived in KCK for 38 years. I grew up near there and went to school with some people that lived there. It was pretty rough when I was there and now several yrs later, it hasn't improved. I would never consider living there myself. There are better places you could look at, go farther west. I live near there, I agree with some of the others, you need to look more west of that area, in village west! that area is growing up fast and is really nice. If that's to expensive for you I suggest looking in the Turner area of KCK I grew up there and it's not bad. |
