How would you describe Kansas City?

Travel Info
If you live there or have visited it. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Travel Tips
I've lived in Kansas City all of my life. I'd say it is a very average city. The cost of living isn't high at all and there are extremely nice parts of the city. To me, the nice parts of it are the suburbs surrounding it. I recently moved to Overland Park, KS, which is a suburb, and I love it. The KCMO school district is horrible, but again, the suburb school districts are extremely nice. If you were to move to this area, I'd move to a city like Blue Springs, Lee's Summit, or any town in Kansas.

Others
I live there - it's an interesting town - has very affordable housing, relatively little traffic, bars are open till 3a.m., you can buy liquor on Sundays, quite a few activities - art museums, good shopping & sports teams. People are very friendly.
It depends were you are in your life, it is not to fast and not to slow and the kansas city school district is not were you would like your child to go
it can be very fun, and if you have a child there are many very desirable suburbs in which to raise children.
