Travel Info Any opinions on heating and cooling training in Kansas City, MO? Travel Tips I work at a heating & cooling place. Our guys got their training from Vaterott and ATVS in KC. There is also one that went to JCCC. Those are the popular places here. Once you get your basic info/education, you can get continuing education through your employer usually through distributors like Lennox or O'Connor Company. Others pay is not that great but you can get your epa certifications online if you want...better to go with plc/electronics training instead, make more money. I went to AVTS in KCK at 59 th @ Parellel .I graduated in 1982 .They gave me a certification in HVACR .They are a hands on school.50 % book work 50% working with hands .They will teach you safety ,solodering ,electrical,working with refridgerants @ diagnosis . I highly recomend this school . |
