Travel Info What do people think of the state of Kansas? Travel Tips I may be a bit biased since I was born and raised here but I really enjoy it. We live in the country so that is a plus. Taxes are high here which is a major drawback. The weather is never boring since it changes on an hourly basis. It really depends on what you like....if you are into big cities or unchangeable weather you will hate it here but if you like laid back country life thats a little slow and very changeable weather you will love it. I'm trying to figure out if the other people who have answered have ever even been to Kansas or if they are just repeating what they have heard on TV. Others Flat and corny. That's its flat. Dorthy and Toto wont be back. It's like any other state, except more southerners. I was raised here in Kansas and I hate it...it's all brown and ugly in the southwest. |
