Travel Info Is lawrence kansas really one of the gates of hell???? Travel Tips It is actually in Stull, Kan., which is near Lawrence - if you believe the stories that is. There is an old church and a graveyard there. They say a gateway to hell opens there on the Spring Equinox. There's also lots of other stories such as if you throw a glass bottle at the church and it doesn't break, the gateway to hell will open etc...A group of us went there in high school - pretty creepy, but no gateway to hell! : ) Here is a Web site to check out: http://www.geocities.com/baja/outback/29... Have you never heard of the University of Kansas?? Yea.. thats located in Lawerence. It a great little town... lots of older homes and cute downtown. Its a great town.
