New way to impress your date in kansas city? Awesome idea!? |
Travel Info I heard of this company starting up that basically makes you a celebrity for a night in kc. You pay some amount up front and then you get to rent one of their exotic cars and drive it for the day/night and goto the fanciest places in downtown. Then you get to stay in this huge fancy sweet downtown too! has anyone tried this? or would anyone try this? Travel Tips I Have not heard of it and neither has my dad (hes in advertising). Neither of us would suggest it. As far as staying downtown... I don't think you would want to stay there as of right now... maybe once they finish fixing it up. My suggestions: Take her to the plaza.. eat at one of the following restraunts: Buca di Beppo ,McCormick & Schmicks, Brio, Plaza III, M&S Grill, Hibachi, or Capital Grill. Shopping and walking around can be done that night before dinner or inbetween dinner and carraige ride... or shop the next day. Planning it and paying for it yourself is the best bet. Maybe the Plaza....not much going on downtown, at least not yet! some Ideas for dates: cheesecake factory take her to the fountains a walk to the plaza Live in da KC I have a boyfriend that lives in Kansas City. So far, I have been to KC many times, and I go there to visit him all the time. My first date in KC was awesome. My honey took me to the Plaza, and we took a walk. Went to Cheesecake Factory, and had a carriage ride too. I loved it all. The fountains are awesome too. I had a great time. Plaza is overrated - take her to Nara (www.narakc.com) and then to JP's Wine Bar caddy corner. Awesome date! |
