Travel Info What is the best time of year to view the great migration of Wildebeast in the Serengeti?
Travel Tips
Sorry you just missed it and I saw it! Usually the migration is in late December, early January, but because they did not get the rains that usually come around that time the migration was in late January. If you are really going to Africa, contact me, I just spent three weeks there and might be able to offer you some advice. Did you know a pregnant wildebeest can actually hold her baby in for a few weeks till she has started the migration. 8000 baby wildebeest are eaten every day by mostly the King of the Jungle and his friends during migration. |
