Have you tried hotels.com or your travel agent =) Cheap and nice do not go together too well in many African countries. You can get a cheap hotel for $5 per night - it is definately not nice! You should also consider personal safety - pay a little more, it's worth it! A good hotel, which is very centrally located is the Sarova Stanley Hotel. It has a famous sidewalk cafe and message board wrapped around a massive tree. This is where Earnest Hemingway used to sit! You might also want to check out the Nairobi Hilton - rooms are only approx $80 per night. Personal visits to Nairobi Have you tried the local tour companies like www.kenyaonetours.com or www.amusingafricasafaris.com or any other local company. I think they do the hotel booking for clients and have better rates. hope this will help |
